TFTeam is the Target Friendship Team of Üsküdar University. This team is a genuine peer mentoring project. The aim of the project is to:

Provide students with support in a friendly and peer-based environment throughout their university life through mentors,

Provide information and support to meet students’ needs,

Help identify the academic, social, and administrative challenges that international students may face and work collaboratively with the relevant departments or personnel (academic and administrative departments/staff, etc.) to resolve these issues,

Provide language support in Turkish, English, Arabic, French, Russian, and some other native languages to help international students overcome language barriers they may experience at the university.
Roles

Mentor Leader: Coordinates the mentor team and supports the quality of the program and continuity of communication.

Mentor: Provides peer support to new international students, listens to their needs, and refers them to the relevant department when necessary.

Mentee: A student who voluntarily participates in the program and benefits from mentor support.

Academic Representative and Relevant Departments: Contribute to resolving academic or administrative requests that require specialized expertise.

ISSTeam and Coordination: Monitors the process through face-to-face, telephone, or email support and refers unresolved issues to the appropriate authorized departments.
